Yeah, I think I'll go out and build me an ark this afternoon. My God, it's rained and rained and rained and rained and rained and.... yeah, you get the idea. Gotta love southeast Texas weather. My aunt told me we've only had 6 days of no rainy days in June. Good Lord! Please stop the rain. My kids need fresh air, they need to go out side and PLAY. They neeeeeed to leave me ALONE!

Another year older. :) Yay! ;) More birthday cake and ice cream!

So I totally suck, I haven't blogged on this in 3 months nearly. GESH! I've just been super duper busy scrapbooking and all that jazz.

Let's see, and update. At the end of May, on Memorial Day weekend we went on our vacation. Got that out of the way for the summer. ;) Then a few weeks later the kids and I spent the week with my mom. The kids had a good time doing that. I've done lots and lots of scrapbooking and I think that's about it I think.

I'm an old lady now and I should be getting to bed. haha! ;) I'll try to be good and update regularly.

Goodness, it's been busy lately.

Easter was great!!! We all got up and went to Church. As soon as we got home, my mom, brother and aunt where here. They JUST started to get out of their cars. Talk about good timing. :) We had our Easter BBQ then hunted eggs. We actually got to hunt outside. It was suppose to rain, but it turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day. :) It was my brother's birthday was well, so he opened his presents and then we had strawberry shortcake. After everyone left, the kids went next door to Chad's uncles house for the big egg hunt with all the little kids in the family. Saira ended up with 2 prize eggs and Ryan got 1. But they ended up with lots of candy from the egg hunt over there. We've also been super busy with T-Ball games and practice. Ryan is SOOO awesome! Saira's doing good. I'm suprised with her bating. She does way better than I expected. Everyone on our team is sooo good! She plays catcher and Ryan's 1st baseman. He's the best ball catcher on the team. We've had 3 games. 1st game we kicked ass and took names...LMAO But our second game, our poor pitcher lost it. He couldn't win for losing, the poor guy. Tonight we had our 3rd game. We were close to winning but the other team had the ball last and got 2 runs in at the last second. But OHHHH MY GOSH, Ryan did a BAD ASS catch! The whole field, both teams parents were raving over Ryan's catch. They were all talking about it when they were leaving still. THAT'S MY BOY!!!!! ;) (proud MAMA!!!!)

I'll have to post some pictures from their games. Maybe I'll upload a video clip for ya'll to see. :)

So other than games, that's about it for us. We have some cool events coming up. Friday is the Elementary's anual Bobcat Relay's (track and filed stuff). And then in a couple of week the school is going to the Houston Zoo again.

Tell the story about your first memorable Easter!

Let me think here a minute, I've had 30 of them so far...LOL .............ok, seriously, I'm having a hard time remembering my first memorable Easter. I know them from pictures that I've seen, but I can't recall them from memory. The first memorable that's popping in my head is an Easter from when I was like 10 or so. But it wasn't a good one. My dad was being an asshole that day. It was really a terrible day. :( The only bad Easter I've ever had.

Well there was this time before that, when I was 8 I believe. I got all dressed up for Chruch. My grandma made my dress, it was soooo pretty! She even made a matching dress for my cabbage patch. She always made matching outfits for my cabbage patch. ;) But I remember that year being my brothers birthday. He had 2 easters before he turned 1...LOL

And now this year, Easter is on his birthday. So this year will be special.

Another year, when I was much older. Probably 18 or 19 years old. I dressed up as an Easter Bunny. OMG, take it from me, don't ever do that. WOOOOOF, it was so freak'n hot in that costume. I feel so sorry for Mascots. It's HOOOOOOT! BUT, it was sooooo much fun, and so rewarding to see those sweet little kids admire the Easter Bunny (me). My cousins worked for a party company, where they would dress up as characters....they suckered me into being the bunny. Very special moment indeed!

What a day

This morning Chad and I were woken up by a phone call around 8:30. A really good friend of his from work (a job from 5 years ago or so) called and said his mom passed away. She had a massive heart attack. Everyone in my county probably knew the woman if they saw her face. She was one of the ladies ALWAYS at walmart doing the free samples of stuff. It will be weird not seeing her there anymore. She was 80 years old. Well anyways, he wants Chad to be a paul bearer tomorrow. Chad told him of course he'll be there. So we got up, kids ate and then we headed to Houston so we could go buy Chad a new pair of slacks and a black polo, oh and a white one too. Before we shopped we ate lunch and since it was directly across the street from my aunts house we called her and told her she had to come join us for lunch...LOL Then we came home. By then it was time for Chad and I to do our Fantasy Baseball drafts. He went to the viewing awhile ago and he's already on his way home. That's been our day. While he was gone, I cooked dinner. So when he gets home we can eat.

Let me add, I'll be glad when it's bed time for the kids. They're driving me CRAZY. LOL

Today Ryan had an eye appointment. The dr. says he needs glasses. So he picked out the cutest pair of glasses. I can't wait til next week when they come in. I'll have pictures for you when he gets them.

1st Dentist Visit

Today was Saira's first time to the dentist. She did great!!! I was so proud of her. I knew she'd be fine with it. Ryan was scared to death and I'm sure he still is. His dentist was horrible! They made me cry, they way the treat kids. :( But my dentist was great with Saira. She had her teeth cleaned and did xrays. But those didn't turn out. She couldn't keep her little motor mouth still long enough for the xrays to come out right. She was all excited about seeing her teeth on the computer there. But maybe next time. LOL, she wouldn't stop asking questions.

So here she is about to get her xrays. The assistant went to get the xray vest for Saira....

And here she is getting her teeth cleaned. She had already gotten her new toothbrush and toothpaste...

And here she is getting her teeth looked at by Dr. Rashall. She likes him alot!! :)

She came home with new toothpaste, toothbrush and dental floss. She thought that was SOOO cool. And she got to get a toy from the treasure chest. :)

For Christmas Ryan got a cool lamp. It's a Car's alarm clock lamp. So when it was time to go back to school after the Christmas break, I thought I'd set his alarm. To my suprise, the first day back, he was up and dressed before I was up. Because I set his alarm about 10 minutes before mine. I didn't know if it would wake him or not. He was loving it. Here we are after Spring Break now and he just gets up, turns it off and goes back to bed. UGH! It's been driving me CRAZY!!

This morning, he finally did right. He woke up, turned it off and started getting dressed when I walked in his room. :)

Saira is totally ready for school now. She's wanting to go to Ryan's class all the time.... "to check it out", so she says. She's talking about wanting to go to school ALL the time. And we have at least 5 months til she can go...LOL I can't wait to take her school clothes shopping. This child loves to shop. Just the other day, we were in a shoe store. I was looking for a pair of Tommy sandals, and found them right off the bat. But Saira had to 'shop' as well. She tried on shoes for 15 minutes....NO LIE!! So school clothes shopping should be real interesting, don't you think? lol

What littlest thing bugs you the most?

That's a tough one!! Lately, I'd have to say Chad and the kids not picking up after themselves. OHHH, I got it. It's when Chad washes his hands at the kitchen sick, and uses my dish soap. And leaves it facing the wrong direction. Erks me to no end. LOL And he knows it.

Some things don't last forever do they?

Yesterday evening, my dryer quit working....right in the middle of drying. That sucked!!! My washer and dryer is 9 1/2 years old. I guess we got our money's worth out of it, huh?

This morning when I got up, I noticed that Chad had gotten online to look at prices. And around 8:30 he had me go to Sears and buy us a new one. They delivered it for us, around 4:30. And I've been doing laundry ever since. :)

We got the same exact thing as our old one.

T-Ball Time

Tonight was practice. Saira's FIRST practice. She was all jazzed up about it. I had to go to a local sporting goods store to get her a helmet. Academy didn't have one to fit her. And Walmart didn't have any either. They only had one-size-fits-all helmets. But I finally found one!! :) Can't wait to show you pics of her. I'll wait til they get their baseball shirts. She did great at practice. She did wonderfuly listening to her coach. She likes him alot!! She keeps going on and on about Coach Mike. She was acting up and not wanting to eat her dinner tonight, and Chad told her he was going to let Coach Mike know about it and she said "NO NO, I'm gonna eat!!!!" So it looks like we have something new to use...LOL hehe!!!

Ryan did awesome as always. My little pro!! Him and one other kid, was hitting the ball to the fence. There is only 2 or 3 kids on the team that are previous players from the last several years. Ryan being one of them. So wish our team luck. With all our newbie little kids. ;)

Spring Break

Yay! I'm so glad it's Spring Break! That means I get to sleep in for a week!! Yay!!! We don't have any Spring Break plans. Well, actually we did, but that didn't work out. We were going to Lake Sommerville to go fishing for the weekend, but they are booked. Bummer!! :( Maybe we can plan ahead better next year for Spring Break. So far we've done LOTS of shopping. We went to the movies and saw Norbit. We bought new cell phones, it was time for an upgrade in December, but Christmas got us. LOL Then Jan. was Saira's b-day. So no phones for us until now. :) Let's see, Chad got a whole bunch of new clothes, a new pair of shoes and I don't know what else. The kids got $350 worth of baseball stuff. They are good to go for the season. :) Oh and we got them a few outfits since it's decided to be warm now.

So we've had a busy busy weekend. Time to relax the rest of the week!!

Today's Excitement

haha, wasn't much of anything. We went shopping. Went to 2 shoe stores, and found me a pair of Tommy sandals. :) A girl can't have enough....right? ..............right???????? Please say yes, or I have a huge problem here...lmao!!! Well, then we ate lunch. After that, we spent 2 hours in Wal-Mart getting groceries and stuff. Came home, unloaded, put away and Ryan got home. I let him play his playstation for a little bit after he did his homework. Then I had to go back to town, for the second time. Chad wanted KFC for dinner. I wasn't about to buy dinner at 2:30 when I came home from shopping. LOL So we went at 5:30. So it would be nice and hot when he got home. :)

Then it was time for AI. Ummm, yeah, that was just crazy. And that's all I have to say about that. lol!!! ;) ;)

Now, the kiddos are in bed and Mary's talking my head off, or should I say we are listening to the air over the phones, while I type this out. HAHA!!!!! ;) LOL ;)

Tonight Saira was being her cute self. She came up to me and asked me, "Mommy, can I make a wish for something?" I said "Well sure you can, what would you like to wish for?" And she said, "Well, I can't yet, I don't have a dandylion in my hand." I thought, awwww, that's so cute!!!! I asked her, "so you can blow it to make a wish on?" and she said, "yes Mommy".

First Kiss...

Ahhhhh, my first kiss. I totally remember it like it was yesterday. I was 14 years old. I was walking home from my best friends house. (some of you might remember her, Carol. I use to have her post on the message board a few years back) Anyways, it was her, her brother and his best friend, who was my boyfriend.... John Nelson. He was so hot. He had long hair! Our walk to my house was like a mile or 2. There was an empty desert between our neighborhoods (I lived out in CA). We stopped half way and he just took me in his arms and gave me the best kiss. I was on cloud nine. Not really sure how I managed to get home. LOL

Gawwww! It's been like a month....hahaha!!!! My bad! Not that anything excitings going on.

Saira's birthday was a blast. Her tea party was perfect!

Ryan's doing good in school. I was incharge of his Valentine's party. It turned out great. I'll be incharge of the Easter party too. :)

Haven't really scrapped as much as I've wanted. A few weeks ago everyone was sick. So that didn't help.

This past weekend I threw my Sister In Law a baby shower. I'm finally having a nephew. He still has a few more months until arrival. I think I'll have to kidnap him a few times and then give him back to mommy. HEHE, best part about being the aunt right? Her shower turned out great though.

So I guess you can say I've been busy with Party's.... Saira's, then Ryan's class party and now my SIL's shower. I have another shower to plan. Should be in June I think.

Anywho, I can't think of anything else. I'll try to update ya again next month... haha ;)

What a crazy week...

Well, start off the week with MLK day. Ryan was off from school. Chad was busy getting a new job. But he was home by lunch time. Then Tuesday school was called off due to the Artic Blast that was coming through. Chad went to work for the morning, the roads were actually safe enough for him to travel where he needed to go. They were sent home before the roads and weather got to extremly bad. So he was home by lunch. LOL Then Wednesday, we didn't send Ryan to school. The weather was still pretty bad. Chad didn't go to work at all that day. So we were all home the whole day. Finally, Thursday, Chad and Ryan go to work and school. Saira and I go battle through all the rain and drizzle to get the grocery shopping done. BUT, Chad was home by lunch time again. This time he was rained out.

....we'll see what happens today...LOL....

Most Proud!

I am most proud of my husband. This morning he passed the test that he had to take to get this new job that him and his friend found. He studied all weekend for the NCCER Test. He was so nervious about it. But I knew he'd do fine. He called me at 10am and told me he was already done and that he passed it. He's an Instrumentation Fitter in the construction field.

Last night I tried some of the raspberry tea that I bought for Saira's tea party. I boiled some water, poured it over the tea bag, watched it brew and then added a dalup up honey along with a spoon of sugar. Mmmmm, it was sooooo good, hot, and comforting. I think I've turned into an herbal tea drinker...LOL

This afternoon, I made a cup of the peach tea.

Scrappin' Day

Today was a scrapbooking day for me. I gathered up all my things and made 7 pages while watching tv with Chad and the kids. If you want to see any of the layouts, they are on my scrapbooking blog.

But other than my scrappin', it was a lazy day around here. The kids had a great time playing with each other. Chad tried to take them out to play at the football field and the baseball field, BUT it was just to wet. I think the kids were disappointned. They were really looking forward to hitting the baseball around. But maybe next weekend, if it doesn't rain.

Gesh, Winter!!! It's looked soooo nasty today. It's tried real hard to rain. But I think tomorrow is going to be the yucky day. It's suppose to rain and thunderstom ALL day. All day on my shopping day. I was planning on taking Saira to get her pictures done while I was out. So hopefully it won't be to bad.

I am most proud of myself. I've done several loads of laundry. I think I can walk in the laundry room again...nearly...HAHA!!! When Ryan got home from school, him, Saira and I played CandyLand. I think they are going to burn me out on that game, and we've only played 3 games since yesterday when it was opened...LOL Chad has to play tonight...HAHA!! ;)

I suppose I could post some pictures from Christmas. I might do that later tonight.

day 2 of the year...lmao!!!!!!!

Well, we got up early.... 7:30 this morning. We all managed to eat breakfast too...LOL Tomorrow starts back to the regular routine....dad at work and Ryan at school.

Around 10 Chad says we should go out for lunch today. So we all got ourselvies ready. We went to our favorite wings place which is like 45 minutes away...LOL It's well worth it though. Mmmm, I had been craving them soooooo bad! On our way home we stopped at Starbucks for me and the kids. Chad was too full. He had 20 wings...LOL We've been back home for a few hours and he's napping now.

Hahaha, just 3 more hours and it's BED TIME for some little children I know... ;)

Well, how was it last night? Did you have fun? We did. The kids stayed up the whole time. Ryan was barely making it. Chad had to take a cat nap...LOL But Saira and I was holding strong. Of course I can, I'm the night owl...LOL But she was awake til 1am...LOL Needless to say, both the kids were still sleeping at 9:30am LOL They are always up and at'em at 7 something.

I have a good lunch planned. Ham, sweet potato caserole, fried cabbage, black eyed peas and cornbread. Then later a pumpkin pie.

Chad and I have been having a GREAT time with the college bowl games. I probably know more about the games than him...lmao!!! Him and about 40 other people here in town did a $5 game picks. You know, pick which team will when the game. It was just $5 to do. I wish I would've picked. I think I would've done better than Chad...haahaa!! I've been keeping all the games tallied for him so he can see how many he's lost and how many all the other people have lost. I don't know if tonights game with Boise and Oklahoma was better or if the Texas Tech game was better. Great games!!!

New Years Eve

Instead of today, yesterday we did my Nieces birthday party. She turned 2 today. So Happy Birthday Shy-Shy!!

Chad and I have decided not to go out this year. We don't want the kids spending the night at his mom and dad's this time. His mom has been going crazy lately. She's like bypolar(sp). We're going to stay up with the kids. We have lots of chips, dips, crackers, sqeeze cheese, cokes, sparkling grape juice, cookies and I don't know what else...LOL

Oooo Shopping!!

I did some major scrapbook shopping yesterday...LOL I went to Hobby Lobby, Michael's and Joanns. And I did it with the kids. Ryan was soooo good. And he really doesn't like to go to those stores. Wal-Mart is about as good as it gets for him...LOL He's not my little shopper...LOL Saira had fun. She loves to scrapbook shop with me. Ryan enjoyed fingering all the stamps. I've got alot of stuff to scrapbook now. But I need to get back into the groove. I organized my stuff and now I don't want to mess with it...LOL

Today I had to go the grocery shopping and I ended up going all alone. I had to stop at my inlaws so I could see the pictures of my Sister In Laws ultrasound...btw....it's a BOY...awwww, Ryan won't be the only boy anymore. Chad's mom had 3 girl grandbabies and 1 boy...lol Anyways, Shyanne, my neice was wanting Saira to stay to play. She begs all the time to have Saira over. But I was't wanting them to stay, they needed to go eat lunch and Saira was always being bad. But ol' grandpa had to sucker me into it...LOL. So it was actually nice to go shopping by myself. Was nice to wind down after dealing with Saira's badness.

We all had a GREAT Christmas. Everyone got EVERYTHING they wanted and asked for, plus way to much more. We had Christmas Eve with my mom, great aunt and brother around 2pm. And then got home just after dark to have Christmas Eve with his dad, brother, sister, her boyfriend and her daughter...oh and our other niece. His mom and other sister didn't come. Long story there....lol Sister is a crack head and his mom is wacko. Anywho, then Christmas morning we got up and checked out what Santa brought. That afternoon we went next door to his uncles house to do Christmas with his WHOLE family. Then later that evening we went to my cousins house to do our gift exchange. It's almost Christmas

How's everyone coming along with the Christmas shopping, baking and whatever else you do this time of year? Are you ready? I know a few of you have Christmas get togethers tomorrow.

I'm all done shopping. Except I need to buy a ham for the lunch get together with Chad's family. I was going to do that tonight, but I guess I'm not. LOL I'm already for bed.

I've baked my butt off today. I made fudge, magic cookie bars and mini chip snowball cookies. Tomorrow I'm making cranberry pumpkin break and the gingerbread men for Santa's plate. But then again I may wait til Sunday night to do the gingerbread men. LOL I'm going to at least make the cranberry pumpkin brad tomorrow. The kids had fun helping me today. Chad was able to have some samples of everything when he get home this evening. He got home early. They only worked 8 hours today. He was fed a big huge catfish and shrimp lunch today. The lucky duck!!

Chad's over his icky sickies. But now Saira's got it. She's been sneezing and coughing all day. She's on her second nap.

Tomorrow we don't have any Christmas gatherings to do. But we have 2 on Sunday. The 1st one is with my mom, brother and great aunt at her house. Then later that evening will be with Chad's mom, dad, brother, sisters and 2 neices, here at our house. Then Monday we have Chad's uncles house next door to do for lunch. Then later than evening we go back to Houston for my aunt and cousins gift exchange. My real dad won't be there this year. They can't afford the trip down from Oklahoma. So I'll miss seeing him. :( I'm sure we'll see him sometime during the year next year.

Well, this afternoon my friend Nina came over to see the 6 layouts I did yesterday. She brought her skipbo cards over so we could play, because Saira decided she'd play with mine one day. So she created a new game with mine...Skipbo-uno-phase10. All in one game...LOL Anyways, we played 3 games and then she was telling me about a cheesecake she was going to make. So I loaned her my peppermint extract and gave her a chocolate graham cracker crust I had. So she called me later on after she left and said she went ahead and stopped at the store and bought enough to make me one too. AWWW! And it sure does look good. It's a peppermint chocolatechip cheesecake. I went over to her house before school was out and ate lunch with her. We had frito pie. Mmmm! And I picked up my cheesecake. I had to wait on Ryan at his bus stop. It was pouring down. I didn't want my baby to get rained on. Doesn't look like there is any homework this week, so he's been asleep the last hour and a half. Poor thing must've been tired. Chad came home early today. It was raining to bad at work, so everyone had to go home. So him and his grandpa went out to the deer lease around 1:30. What a brainfart!!! DUH, it's pouring down...LOL So now he's soaking wet and on his way home. LOL

Freezing

It sure has been different around here with it freezing the last few days. It was 24 degrees this morning. And you won't believe what it is now......60 degrees.

Today I pulled out my santa cookie plate that my mom gave me and the kids a few years ago. It came with a recipe book for Christmas cookies. The book has disappeared. It's no where to be found. I'm really mad!! :(

I've been sick with a cold since Friday night. There's no signs of it going away. Saira had been sick for a week before I got it, so I was thinking I lucked out and didn't get it. Speaking of her, she's been asleep today for the last 3 and 1/2 hours. And still snoozing. Lucky duck! I was napping earlier, but my sister in law called and didn't take the hint. UGH! LOL

So other than freezing to death and having a cold, there hasn't been anything else going on.

It was my duty this year to cook Thanksgiving dinner. I was all excited about it at first, then I started getting nervious about it. But come Wednesday afternoon I was cool. My aunt guided me through it basicly...LOL Thursday morning I finished up the rest of the food and we were eating at 11:30. We actually liked eating that early. We had to anyways, because my brother had to be at work by 2pm. So anyways, eating that early allowed us to eat dinner and actually be hungry for it. :) Everyone gave me such great compliments. And I was most proud of myself. :)

We didn't do any Black Friday shopping. Well, we did go shopping that night. But we didn't get any of those totally awesome deals. We did the shopping for the kids. I've already gotten a couple things for my mom and Hilary. And that's it for now. We always like to get the kids stuff taken care of before December comes around. :)

Saturday I went shopping with Nina. We hit Hobby Lobby and Joann's. And that was about it for me...LOL Chad was at the deer lease all day that day.

Today I did a bunch of nothing. Well, I did go to walmart and got a few things we needed. Other than that, I just piddled here and there. Watched tv alot...LOL Chad didn't go hunting at all today. I believe he was tired.

But anyways, we had a great week. It couldn't have been any better. :)

Woooo, what a night! So last night I went to spend the night at Kim's. I played Bunco at her house. That was SOOO much fun. I won the most Bunco's....YAY me!!!! Came home with $30. Woot!! So after everyone left, which was around 9pm, we got out scrapbooking stuff and proceeded to get started. But we needed to make a Starbucks run first. We got back home around 11:30...LOL OK, so we stayed up til 6am! OMG!!! Crazy crazy!! I got up at 9 to go get my aunt and bring her to my house so she could spend the night for Thanksgiving. I don't know how I managed on 3 hours of sleep. But I did it! Actually I don't know how I managed to stay up that late....LOL

LOL! Well, not much going on around here these days. Just chill'n. Literally, it's been cold...LOL Saira and I have been staying home, except for yesterday's outing to Ryan's school for lunch. Today I've watched tv most of the day. And watch Saira play with all of her babies. She's such the lil' mama! Yesterday I rearranged my bedroom. I was excited about it, since I had been wanting to do it for months.

Tomorrow will be a quick and busy day. Ryan goes to school just 1/2 the day, so when he gets home, we're going shopping. Unless Chad wants to go when he gets home. Which would be fine with me. :)

I love this day at school. It's Thanksgiving Dinner for lunch at Ryan's school. They have THE BEST!!! I'm going to look like a piggy mom, cause Ryan doesn't eat most of the stuff. And heck yeah, I'm going to eat his...LOL I've got to get a head start on next Thursday. LOL

Speaking of Thursday. My aunt who has been cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner since my grandparents have passed away, isn't going to be able to do the cooking this year for Thanksgiving most likely. So I've decided that I'd like to do it. Besides, I didn't want to go out to eat. So I'm all excited. I've already gotten all the ingredients from my aunt. I'm just glad I know how to cook a turkey. I've been cooking turkeys for Chad and I for the last 7 years or so. I cook them the same way my grandpa did.....

stick the turkey in a BIG pan. smear a stick of butter all over him. shove 1/2 an apple and 1/2 an onion, and another stick of butter up Tom's butt. Pour 1/2 a beer around him in the pan. Get 2 brown paper sacks and slide ol' Tom and his pan in the sacks. Bake over night in a slow oven. Perfect turkey EVERYTIME! Mmmmmmmmm

I'm hungry now, and can already smell it...LOL I'm excited about cooking for my family though. BUT, hopefully dinner doesn't turn out perfect, where they always want me to cook it...LOL hehe!!

Our night was just ridiculous!! Chad told me not to cook last night, that he'd like to go out to eat. So that was just totally fine with me...LOL So we leave to go eat, and contemplate on where to eat at. No Taco Bell, because he ate taco's for lunch. No McDonald's because me and Saira ate there for lunch. Poor Ryan, he ate at school, so he's not caring...LOL We head to the other end of town and go to Jack in The Box. Now this place is fast food for those that don't have these restaurants in there area. It took about 30 minutes to even get our food. Then they screwed up mine and Chad's burgers. He got this thing called the Outlaw burger, which had a spicy chicken patty, 2 slices of cheese, a hamburger patty and BBQ sauce. They left the burger part off. They didn't even put my spicy chicken sandwich on the tray. The idots! So I took his up there and asked them to fix it and to get mine to me. I stood around another 15 minutes waiting. I was getting pissed. Chad was about to blow up on them...LOL Finally Chad said he'd go up there and ask to speak with the manager. We totally got all our money back. Him and I got free drinks, fries and eggrolls. The kids got free kids meals...LOL We leave and head to Sonic. I got some chili cheese tator tots. Chad got a frito chili cheese wrap. And we thought we'd get shakes for everyone. OH, but no! Their ice cream machine was down for the night. The retards! So we go next door for shakes and malts to Whataburger. LOL I told him 3 times a charm! LOL So after all that we finally got to go to Wal-Mart to get Ryan's hunting license. I almost wanted to cry. It was his FIRST! :) We got him some hunting boots and a mask and headed on home. I couldn't stay awake anymore, I was exhausted from my day and I went to bed. :)

The last 2 days I've wanted to scrapbook and just can't get myself in a groove. I have it all orginized...LOL But I'll turn the tv on and start watching Food Network. I guess the answer for me is to just turn it to the XM Radio channel...LOL I need to get crackin'. I have alot of pictures to work with and I have 100 more pictures to be printed whenever I want. So on Wednesday I got my hair cut. I want it cut more, but I'm scared to do it. Shut up Mary! LMAO!! I'll most likely not cut it anymore right now. Friday I went to Kim's house for scrapbooking. I only got 2 pages done. And here they are....

Then Friday night the four of us went to the highscool football game. It was soooooooo freak'n cold. But it was great. About 10 minutes before we left, Saira fell asleep on me. We lost that game. Our town is heartbroken, seriously!! It was against our rival team. AND it was the deciding game on if us or that other team were the distract champs. Um, yeah, so the other team won and we're all pissed. They never win, our team always wins that match. Their team sucks! They will probably have a tshirt made, again. They've won maybe 3 times in the last 70 something years...LMAO!!!!!! Sad huh? Anywho!!!

Saturday I went to Houston to see my mom, great aunt and one of my brothers. We all went out to eat for lunch. And then I had my great aunt go with me to Hobby Lobby. Won't be doing that again. She'll have you buying the whole store...LOL She thought I need this $20 pack of Christmas papers. Which would've only been $10. And she thought I needed this Christmas scrapbooking kit that was $20. It wasn't on sale though. LOL So yeah, she's staying home next time. ;) We didn't get home til after dark thirty...LOL

We've had a great weekend. Today is relaxing day. Chad got home from the woods this afternoon and passed right out. I'm sure he's exhausted. Yesterday he got up at 3:18am. His grandpa called and woke him up. I thought that was just a little crazy!! LOL Today he got up at 4:30am. ....and no deer either days. :( Maybe next weekend. Ya'll cross your fingers for him next weekend.

This morning an old hostess of mine called to tell me that her sister stopped by for a visit and looked through the PartyLite catalog. Well...LOL...ol' sister made a $300 order. So she wanted to turn that in and see what she could get for free. LOL So I got myself dressed and boogied over to her house. Can't beat a suprise pay check out of the blue. :)

WOW! I was kidless all morning and most of the afternoon. Chad took them both with him to the deer lease. Saira took her pink gun with her so she could finally shoot it out there. But Nina called me around 10:30 and we went to walmart. So we got to shop without Saira. HEHE!!

When I got home I raked the yard. All the leaves were driving me NUTS. And just as I finished they got home. The truck was nasty dirty so he drove his grandpa's 4-wheeler to the car wash and I followed so I could wash the truck when he was done washing the 4-wheeler off. So I raked, scrubbed the truck, came home cooked our Sunday pizza's for lunch. (that's an every Sunday lunch) Then I cleaned up my room. My room is like the catch all room. Fun fun...LOL So I'm pooped now. Ended up with a slight blister on my hand from raking. I raked without gloves like a ding dong...LOL

It was a big ol' lazy day. I watched several movies and shows I recorded a few weeks ago. Saira and I did lazy really good. ;) I'm thinking about doing that again tomorrow. I still have several more shows I need to watch.

Very shocking, but I took over the tv tonight. I watched Deal or No Deal and then 1 vs 100. So Chad hung out on the computer. LOL That was different. So now we switched. :)

Since it's Saturday tomorrow, I'm fixing to turn on the tv here in the den (It's small) and scrapbook for a little while. I would like to finish my San Antonio book before Wednesday so I can show it off at my Creative Memories Get Together that night. I stopped working on it and have been working on Saira's book. So I think it's time to go back to my vacation book. :)

Ryan's Birthday Weekend

We had a great weekend!! First off, we had to wake up before the crack of dawn Saturday morning. Ryan had a football game. As soon as it was over we went to down and grabbed some breakfast from McDonald's. Then went to the store to get his birthday cake and ice cream. We came home and got ourselves together and waiting on everyone to arrive. He opened his presents and then we had cake and ice cream. After that, everyone headed home and my mom took Saira with her. Ryan and I followed shortly after. So we spent the night with her. We watched movies, ate pizza and had cherry turnovers. Me and Saira slept with my mom. And Saira thought that was sooooo cool! lol And then I realized why I don't sleep with my daughter...LOL She snores and is a bed hog. GESH! Then we got up early this morning and got ourselves together and came on home. We were home by 10am. I've been scrapbooking most of the day and have been planning a "get together" with a creative memories consultant(a friend of mine).

I'll post pictures from the birthday tomorrow I guess. :)

Awwww, there has been this cute fluffy little gray kitty that's been hanging out at our house for the last 4 or 5 days now. It's so sweet. Well Saira thinks it needs to come inside. Yesterday was Chad's birthday. We really didn't get to do much. We got up at 6am for Ryan's football game. Then Chad helped his grandpa with buying a new truck. After that we spent a little time at his mom and dad's. By now it was 4pm. Then my friend called and asked if I wanted to run to town with her to get movies, pizza and munchies for our Slumber Party. It was just us 3 girls, me, Saira and Nina. I got back home and fried chicken for Chad's birthday dinner. When I was done making dinner Saira and I got our bathes and put our jammies on and went over to Nina's house. We watched 2 movies, ate LOTS of food and finally passed out around 1:30am. We were zonked...lol We had air matresses on her livingroom floor and camped out in there. We had a great time. Her husband is out of state working and her kids were at their friends houses staying the night. So we got up this morning, had our coffee and waffles for breakfast and then watched another movie. We finally got back home this afternoon around 12...LOL

DVR and Broadband

Being without my phoneline for a week was driving me crazy and so last week when I first noticed I didn't have a dial tone, I called up this company and signed up.

Pink Barbie Gun

Saira has been asking for a Pink Barbie Gun for about a year and a 1/2 probably. But ummm, hello, they don't make such a thing. This all came about cause Ryan always likes to get those toy guns from Wal-Mart. I'd always tell Chad he needs to go buy one and paint it pink and put barbie stickers on it...LOL It's never happened though...LOL

Well, the other day Chad's grandpa called and told Chad that he'd be buying all the boy grandkids small shotguns to keep and remember him by since he's now 70. He figured they could pass them on to their family when they got older. Well last night he calls Chad back to tell him that Ryan's has been ordered because he got him a bigger size gun than the other boys since Ryan's been practicing and is good now. Or something like that, I don't know...LOL So he asked what Saira would like, cause they don't want to leave the girls out. The girl gifts probably wouldn't be as special though. Well, me and Chad just jokingly told them about the pink barbie gun thing. And Grandpa and grandma went nuts, they said they saw one, a pink that is...LOL They said they were on their way to go buy it right then. And they did!! They stopped by late last night and gave her the pink gun. She was so excited!! It was such a special moment. I nearly wanted to cry. Cause Chad's family is such big hunters. So I ran and grabbed my camera. But the damn lense fogged up...LMAO So some of them didn't turn out perfect.......

I looked at her like she was crazy and said no...LOL Then she turns back around and has a white label in her hand. The ones you print on. And she says, "MOMMY! I wanna do your eyebrows!!" I looked at her crazy again and said, "OHH HELL NO girl!". She's lost her mind, wanting to do my eyebrows. Poor kid has seen me get my eyes done way to many times I guess.

My aunt took me to Applebee's a few weeks ago and she wanted me to try their fried chicken salad. OMG ya'll. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! It comes with a honey mustard dressing that is to die for!!

And we shared this.... Heaven on a plate! It's their Maple Butter Blondie. I wish I knew how to make it. It's a blondie brownie baked with pecans and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chopped walnuts. And covered later with a warm rich sizzling maple butter sauce. I wanna know how to make that sauce! Mmmmmmm!!! HELP, anyone know??

My mom is much better now. Her toe is still bad, but it is soooo much better. She says she's feeling a whole lot better.

Saira is all better. But Chad ended up with it and he can't seem to shake it. I had to pick Ryan up after lunch because he threw up. He hasn't done it since, thank goodness. I was bad for a day, that was Sunday.

Saira is all better now. I took her to the doctor on Wednesday. I swear it was a waste of $50. But then again, things happen that way. I was telling Chad last night, that I'm sure if I wouldn't have taken her she'd still be puking. It's like when you finally ask a question for help and before that person can help you get it figured out. KWIM? LOL So anyways, yesterday was a puke free day. I think Wednesday was too, I can't remember now...LOL My days are running together. I was still a little worried about taking her out yesterday to go shopping cause I didn't want puke in my truck. YUCK! But thank the Lord, everything was fine and dandy.

On to other news...

My mom isn't doing good. I think it was July 17th she had toe surgery to repair her pinkie toe. All was well until she had to return back to work on Aug. 7th. Remember she's a bus driver. Well, infection was settling in. And it was getting worse and worse as the week went on. Come Friday the 11th she couldn't take the pain anymore. And Sunday she had passed out and her b/f had to take her to the emergency room. Come to find out she was in critical condition. :( She was back home on Tuesday I think. She has to stay off of her feet. And there is no telling when she'll get to go back to work. :(

My 1st Crop

Today I went to my first crop and I had so much fun. I really didn't get much done. I had to leave early because Saira got sick again. Chad was napping and she ended up sick, all over the place. Guess he learned his lesson...lol But anyways, I got 3 layouts done. I didn't complete the journaling on one of them though.

The ice cream cone I made with big circle punches. That was so fun!! It was my friends idea. She went crazy when she saw my ice cream cone picture and gave me the idea for the paper ice cream cone. She's to nifty!!

And I just HAD to get this page made. I've been waiting all summer for this page...LOL

First Day of School

Today was Ryan's first day of school. Yesterday we went up to the school to check the list, to see which teacher he'd have. I was probably the most excited parent around. Ryan's new teacher was to be the mother of his Pre-K teacher. AWESOME AWESOME!!! I love those ladies. His Pre-K teacher became a really good friend of mine the year before last. I was disappointed last year when he didn't get the Pre-K teachers sister. So anyways, it's the first day of school and all went well. I got up, got him ready and had time to spare. I wasn't able to fix him his pancake breakfast like I always do for the first day of school. Saira became sick yesterday with throwing up. Chad stayed home infact, for a few reasons. Mainly because his car broke down yesterday. Go figure huh? Just our luck, broken down car and sick daughter. UGH! But anyways, he stayed home with Saira while I took Ryan to school. He's diffinately become a big boy and a 1st grader. We walked in, found his desk and he told me, "Ok mama, I love you, byeeeeee" and gave me a big hug. I was like, UHHHH, I wanna stay a few minutes....LOL So I stayed in the hallway so I could speak with his teacher. I wanted to get a picture of them together for my scrapbook. :) So here's a picture for ya... (for some reason, I'm only able to upload 1 pic in my last two posts. :( )

Awesome Family Trip!

We had such a great time! We went to Sea World which was a blast! The kids enjoyed seeing all the dolphins, seals, whales and other animals sooo much. We first watched the dolphin show. And opppps, we sat in the splash zone...LOL We were soaking wet, big time!! It was GREAT!! Chad rode a little kid roller coaster with Ryan. Saira was mad because she wanted to ride. But we couldn't go at the moment, cause I had to hold my purse, his hat and my camera. And I wanted to take their picture. But she got mad about it...LOL We spent the whole day there at Sea World. The next day we went to the Alamo. Ryan got himself a new toy riffle gun. He's like all in heaven over that toy...LOL We sat and listened to a disortation on the history of the Alamo for just a little bit and then headed on over to the Riverwalk. We got on the boat and rode the 2 mile ride. Saira was loving it. She thought that was soooo cool. As you ride, the tour guide tells you all about the history of San Antonio and the Riverwalk. When we were done, it was just past lunch time and we headed over to our next distination, The Buckhorn Saloon. It's a historical Saloon, restuarant, musuem and wax figure display. That place was WAY To darn cool!!! Chad and Ryan were on cloud 9 in that place. After we spent a few hours there, we went to our hotel room and rested for a little bit. Saira even took a nap...LOL Early in the evening we left for the other side of San Antonio to go to the Natural Bridge Caverns. It was a 75 minute hike/tour. I think we ended up 300 some odd feet down in the ground. It was so neat minus the part where we sweated our butts off, literally...LOL I had been there before when I was a kid and I swear, it was NOT that hot in the cavern. We were so pooped after that hike. We stopped and had dinner and went on back to our room. We managed to do everything we wanted to do and was able to head home Sunday morning. But our trip wasn't over. We had to stop and have Starbucks on the way home...LOL

Family Vacation Time

We're off to San Antonio. That's about a 3 1/2 hour drive and as soon as we get there we're going to Sea World. I've had Sea World scrapbooking stickers for over a month now...LOL Got'em at Hobby Lobby, when I went with my mom just after I started scrapbooking a few months ago...LOL Chad said we were gonna do it this summer, so I saw those stickers and thought....HEY, I'll need those...LOL We're also going to visit the Alamo. I can't believe it, but Chad has never been to San Antonio which means he hasn't visited the Alamo. So he's excited about that. I'm sure alot or most of you don't know what the Alamo is....unless you watched the movie. ;) They also have the Riverwalk that goes through San Antonio. It's a small river and they have small boats you ride and it takes you past ALOT of historical places and the Mall and many other shops. It's a really neat thing. Saira's excited about that part. But of course we are doing Sea World too. That's the only thing I haven't been to before. Chad and the kids haven't done any of this stuff though. So I'm real excited to see how they enjoy all these things I did as a kid. ;)

I got back yesterday afternoon. The kids were soooooooo excited to see me. I think they missed me. I'll never forget the bright, cheerful faces I saw as they drove up at the airport to pick me up.

That was soooo awesome! I wish you all could have been there with me. I've never had so much fun, ever!! And I've done alot of great things in my life. I can't wait til next years conference now. LOL And speaking of that... you'll never believe where it's at next year. It's in Houston. PartyLite has never been to Houston for conference before. Kinda sucks though, I won't get to fly. :( LOL BUT that saves money...HEHE!! I will stay at a Hotel though. I'd hate to do all that driving back and forth for 4 days. I'm going to have Chad join me. So he can have all the excitment of Conference too. It's so emotional, listening to all the testimonials. I probably cried a river, because I wear my emotions on my shoulder. UGH! I'd constantly stick my hand behind me to the next row to get a tissue from the other ladies...LOL

Talk about getting a TON of motivation. My plan is to become a Unit Leader, which means I need to find people who would like to be a PartyLite consultant like me and earn about $600 a month. And by doing that, I'll earn a free trip to Dallas, Texas for Leader Summit...to get more excelent training from the wonderful author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Jack Canfield. He trained all day Wednesday (out 1st day at St. Louis). And also by promoting out to Unit Leader I will also earn a free trip to Los Cabos Mexico. So I have alot of work to do. But back to Jack Canfield, he has now made a new book, called "Chicken Soup for the PartyLite Soul"!! He loves us PartyLite folks.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll get back and post pics from my trip. I have 2 special pics that I'll talk about later. :)

Moody Gardens

The kids and I went to Moody Gardens in Galveston today with my mom and great aunt. We all had a wonderful day. We went to the Aquarium Pyramid and saw all kinds of things like fish, stingrays, sharks, pengiuns and seals. All in a 1.5 million gallon aquarium. After we finished with that pyramid we went to the Rainforest Pyramid. In there we saw all kinds of birds, turtles, plants, trees, butterflies, bats and other rainforest animals. After we finished with Moody Gardens we went to the Seawall and looked for a place to eat lunch. And we came across the Rainforest Cafe. What an awesome place to eat. That was the coolest place I've eaten at. And I've been to many different kinds of restaurants in my life...LOL And this place was the neatest by far!! Of course it was pricey, but it was well worth it. I look forward to going back again....with Chad next time.

All-Stars Update...and the party...

They just played last Saturday and Sunday. And they were eleminated. Thank God!!! I was soooo tired of all that stuff. Now we can relax for the summer, no sports or anything like that.

He enjoyed playing at the All-Star games though. I went to the Saturday game. OMG!!! It was sooooooo freaking HOT! Sunday one of the other moms took Ryan so he could be there for the game. Saira, Chad and I went to his grandpa's 70th birthday suprise party. It was so much fun. And there were about 50 people there, probably more.

New TV

Wednesday we had to get a new TV. Tuesday evening our tv went out. So Wednesday we bought a big one finally. We got a 50" Samsung DLP. We also had to get a stand for it. Wednesday night, I didn't get to bed until 3am. I was busy getting everything hooked up, and getting the stand together. Then I had to rearrange the livingroom...lol But here's a picture I just took so you can see.

All-Stars

I think I mentioned before that Ryan was choosen for All-Stars so we've let him play. Last Monday is when they started practicing for it. They practice everyday except Wednesday. OMG, I'm sooooo freak'n burned out of this crap. I can't stand the thought of having to take him to practice everyday at 7pm. It's to damn hot to practice any earlier than that or the kids will pass out. Thank God for the rain since Friday. It gave me a break. The grounds were to wet today so they did practice in the Elem. Gym. OH MYYYYYY GOD!!!!! It was soooooooooo hot in there! Today we got his new jersey. He wears a large. They gave me a small. ALLLLLL the shirts were smalls. That was a joke!! These people have me so agrivated. Alright, then we get the game schedule. It's this Saturday at 4pm. Then again on Sunday, but not telling what time. We've had a suprise birthday party planned for Chad's grandpa for a month now. And it's this Sunday, and Ryan has a game now. He can't miss or it will be all his fault that we had to forfit(sp) and lose. So this All-Stars crap has me on the edge. I can't stand it anymore.

And then to top that off, Chad's mom has had me running her around since last Tuesday or Wednesday. Their car broke down. And before that my dad had me going from here to there and there to here and every which a ways. Chad said, "at least your dad was paying you though". His mom and dad can't afford the gas money for our truck. My dad would replace the gas, plus some. And then pay me for my days work.

Ok, I've vented. I hate to vent, but I couldn't stand it anymore.

Our Summer so far...

We've spent our days in the truck, running the roads for my dad. Being the go'fer person for all the materials he needs for jobs. I've been going going going ever since Ryan was out for the summer. Which was May 25th.

Just before school was out, we all went to the Houston Zoo with the school. We had so much fun. That same day I had to go and pick up Chad were he was working for that week. He was away from us nearly a week. I must say, it was nice being able to just chill out and not have to cook dinner and all that stuff.

Chad's decided that we are going to take a vacation to San Antonio for 3 or 4 days and go to Sea World.

I'm going on my National Conferance trip in July. It's a 4 days thing. It's in St. Louis and I'm excited about it!! I wish I could've accomplished more with my candle buisness so that I could earn things at Conferance, but maybe next year. :)

I'm taking the dive and joining in on the scrapbooking world. I called JavaMama this afternoon while I was at Wal-Mart asking her what all I need to get started. :) Ohhhhhh, how I wish we lived closer! I'm so excited about this too. I'm going to make a book for Ryan and one for Saira.

But I suppose that's it for now. :)

Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I sure did. Chad grilled burgers and hotdogs for me and his mom. Ryan and Saira got me a new candle lighter for my candle shows. ;) I thought that was really cute.

We had a real busy weekend. Saturday, Ryan had a game and it was opening day for T-Ball. Even though there are just 3 more games left. Is that stupid or what? LMAO!! But we were out in the sun all afternoon. I got sunburned on my arms, neck and face. Saira almost got burned and Ryan got some good color...LOL His team won. It was an awesome game too!!

Let's see, and then Yesterday was Mother's Day. But I guess I should back up some. Wednesday Chad was laid off from his job. So it was time to find another. He found one Thursday. He starts tomorrow though. He'll be gone during the week and get home on Saturday nights at 7:30ish. The kids won't know what to think or how to act with him gone during the week. School is out in 2 more weeks and then we're going to go visit him on Wednesday and spend the night. So it won't be so bad on us all. This job will last a few months.

Oh, and about my last post...LOL Chad was being a major BUTTHEAD on Friday towards me and his best friend. Guess Chad was just stressing about work and all. But me and Jason (his best friend) weren't putting up with his crap. LOL HEHE!! We told him were to stick it and all that good stuff. But all is good. Just one of those moments, ya know. Hope ya'll weren't thinking anything too bad...LOL

I've decided that I'm going to have a lazy day. Other than cleaning up the house of course. I'm not gonna leave the house until 2:30. I'll run up to the beauty shop and tan, then go pick up Ryan at 3.

I'm getting excited. Ryan has a field trip on the 19th. It's to The Houston Zoo. He's only been once before. When he was like 2 or so. Saira hasn't been before, so she'll love it!! And what's even better, is that Chad will get to go with us too. A family trip to the Zoo with the school...LOL

....OH MAN! I just realized I have a candle show tomorrow. No lazy day for me. I have to get my candle stuff orginized and ready for tomorrow night.

Toot-Toot

I've been sitting around here keeping my ears wide open, waiting for the sound 'toot-toot' from the UPS man. The man in brown is bringing me some more candle stuff. I've been showered in candles the last couple of weeks. Last week I got a $100 worth for just $9.95. YAY!!! It's a ton of candles. Well...lmao...I'm getting another $100 for $9.95. What am I gonna do with all these candles? LOL In the last month, my life has been all about PartyLite. I'm trying to have as many candle shows to help pay for my trip to National conference in July. What a cool birthday present that will be.

But anyways, last night I went to a Jewelry Party. I hadn't seen that consultant in a year now. So it was a great evening. Didn't even have to take Miss Jewelry girl Saira with me...LOL OMG she would've wanted to model it all. LOL

To my MO moms, I want to apologize for the board being down. I don't know how to fix those kind of problems. And I really haven't had the time to either, because of the above...lol...along with Ryan's T-Ball games and practice. We have practice maybe once a week and 2 games a week. Fun fun!!

I wanna ride!!

This weekend we've been taking the kids to the Mayhaw Festival here in town. The kids have had sooooo much fun. Last year Saira didn't like it. She wasn't to sure about it all. But this year we couldn't keep her off the rides. Ryan got to be the big boy this year, and run around with his friends and ride with them. We think we've had our dose of the best Cajan food ever made. The cooks have a their own place right down the road. But we never stop there to eat. We just eat it at all the area festivals and fairs. The parade was rescheduled in 2 weeks. We had a HUGE storm hit yesterday morning. But it passed by noon.

Yesterday we watched the 1st Round of the NFL Draft. Then we took a nap while Chad's friend played with the kids...LOL I thought that was funny. Then we woke up and he went to sleep. The kids wore him out.

But I didn't have to cook a thing over the weekend. HEHE! I will tonight though.

It looks like Nina and I are going shopping in just a little bit. :)

Long time no see

Well first off I gotta tell ya, I made a post a couple of weeks ago, and it was long. But it didn't go through and I couldn't recover the post either. UGH...LOL

But enough of that, how's everyone in blog land? ;) I've been supper busy. As always. Last week Saira was in the pageant here in town. She won 3rd Runner up. These are the only good digetal shots I have. Chad took shitty pics...lol The 1st one is a pic that Ryan took. And the 2nd is one that I took. All of the pics that Chad took were blurry. UGH!!! At least I had Nina there to take film snapshots. :) I'm having those developed today. And I hope I can remember to pick them up later this afternoon...LOL

Well, Ryan is doing T-Ball again this year. Next year he moves up to pitching machine. And here are a couple of pics of him...

Other than that, I just do my PartyLite stuff. This last Saturday I had a show, and it was my record breaking sales. I sold $805. YAY!!!!! I'm beyond excited about that. That was an easy $200 made. HEHE!!

Catch Up Time!

Wow, it's been a week and 4 days since I blogged. So here goes... LOL....

Where did I leave off?

Ah, yes, the kids Spring Break. So I took them to my moms on Wednesday afternoon. We got to her house and we loaded up and went to McDonald's for lunch(Saira's request). Then we went to Palais Royal and got their Easter clothes and shoes. Then went next door to Old Navy. She got me one of those striped skirts and the shirt to go with it. Love it, it's so comfy! She got the kids some more clothes and then we went to Marble Slab for ice cream. Then off to the grocery store. We all got coffee at Starbucks inside the store and then headed back to her house. They started a movie and I headed back home. I didn't get here until 7pm...LOL It was fun hanging out with them for the day. Then the next day the packed up and went over to my great aunts house. She took them to see Doogal. Ryan enjoyed it, Saira fell asleep. LOL They went and played at the park in her neighborhood a couple of times. And on Friday I went and picked them up at her house. But on Thursday I had a candle show. Also had to do the shopping. So I didn't get to enjoy the day without the kids.

Ryan lost his 7th tooth the other day. And the tooth fairy came for a visit. :)

Saira said something really cute the other night. Chad was telling her stories. It had something to do about her. The stories always do...LOL He had said, "There was this little girl and her name was Saira." And she'll say, "Oooohhh, MYYYYY name is Saira tooooo!" And he said, "And she had a fish named Nemo." She said, "Oooohhh, meeee too!!! But him's died". And he said, "Awwww, yeah, he went to fishie heaven" And she says, "Noooo, he went to the trashcan!"

haaaaaaaaaaa! It still cracks me up!!!

Well, I know it wasn't much of an update, but that's about all I've got. I've just been doing LOTS of shopping with my friend. Oh, and watching lots of TV. I've been taking a computer break...kinda sorta...hmm, not really...LOL But I've managed to watch more tv. I've been watching lots of movies on tv. :)

Oh, and Ryan got his Harry Potter movie. We all liked it alot. If only Saira would've been more quiet...LOL

A good weekend

Chad did alot with the kids this weekend. He promised to take Ryan up to the baseball field both days and to take the kids fishing. So Saturday we got up and come evening we finally all went up to the baseball field and did some practicing. Ryan can already hit the balls being pitched to him. To hell with t-ball and pitching machine, my boy is just gonna move right on up to regular pitching and then to Pro. hehe! ;) We didn't make it to the fishing hole. But we did lots of fun family stuff at home.

Sunday I got up, got dressed and went to Super Wal-Mart with my coffee drinking buddy. We spent the afternoon at that place. Chad took the kids up to the baseball field and Chad said he did awesome ago. He's working on him at 1st base. His coach can't decide if he wants Ryan at the pitchers mound or 1st base. The pitcher doesn't pitch in t-ball though. They just run people out basicly. (for those that don't know much about t-ball). Then they finally went fishing. Saira hasn't been fishing since last spring. So Chad had to show her. They were fishing with artifical bait. The kids fish with minnows though. Chad said Saira was casting her pole perfectly. I'm so proud of her!! So the kids had a great time. Next weekend we're all going to go. And this time we'll have minnows. :)

Two more days til my kids go on their 'vacation'. LOL They are so excited about it. All they have talked about is staying the night with MeMe and Bettie Anne.

Officially Spring Break

As of yesterday at 12pm Spring Break began. My mom has asked for the kids to come stay the night with her sometime next week and then with my aunt. The kids are soooooo excited. I think I shouldn't have told them about it until Tuesday or so...LOL They'll go to the movies, to the park and to Starbucks. LOL My kids are so spoiled already. Everytime I go to Starbucks, I will get them a frappuccino. I told Saira she'll be going to stay with MeMe next week and she said, "And get Starbucks toooooooo?" LOL Ryan wants to see 'Doogal' at the movies. That looks like a cute one. And if he is good during Spring Break I'll buy him the 4th Harry Potter movie. It comes out on Tuesday.

Ryan started T-Ball practice. His team is called the Braves. I know my brother will be so excited to hear that, since his all time favorite team is the Braves. :)

Yay!! JavaMama called me at 9:55am CST (just now). Isabella arrived this morning at 7:56am EST time She is 8lbs 1oz. Her score is a perfect 10. Awwww! I can't wait to see pics of her! I'm sooo excited!

I got Ryan off to school and then Saira and I got ready and went to Best Buy. She spent her $50 gift card that my mom gave her for her birthday. We saved it so that she could get Lady and the Tramp. So we got that, SharkTales and Caliou. She's watched them all but SharkTales...lol We stopped at Starbucks to get some Frappucino's. Then we got hamburgers at DQ. I stopped at a store to look at capri's. Didn't buy any though. :) We headed home and that's been it. We got Ryan from school. And I've been doing partylite stuff. It will be time to fix dinner in a little bit. Tonight is American Idol, so I'll be watching that. :)

I had a busy day, but that's all to it in a nut shell...LOL

A Nice Weekend

Saira spent the night with her MeMaw and PePaw last night. Actually she was staying the night with her cousin, Shyanne. Saira calls her "Hy-anne" LOL Saira can't say the 's' sound. She's my 1 year old niece. She's cute as a button and is always wanting to go home with me...LOL One day soon I'll bring her home with me, but not just yet...LOL

We got up this morning and headed over to Chad's mom and dad's to pick up Saira. We stayed their for a couple of hours and visited. We came back home and ate pizza for lunch. Chad took a nap and I watched my movie, 'In Her Shoes'. I'm not done with it just yet. After I'm done blogging I'm going to finish it. :) At 3pm we all got ready to go over to a friend of Chad's. He made a brisket, beans and tator salad. This mans wife passed away last year so when ever he invites us over we try to go visit him. :) One good thing is that this man CAN COOOOOOOK! I love his food!! Then after we ate, we went over to the deer lease so Chad and Ryan could shoot their guns. Geeee, that was way to much fun for me....lmao!!! Can't wait for next time. (can you since my sarcasm) :) :) :)

Sad week

On Monday Saira, Nina and I went to Best Buy to buy my printer/scanner/copier after we dropped her truck off at the shop. While we were in the store my aunt calls to tell my that another aunt of mine had passed away. Last week she was diagnosed with cancer of the esophogus(sp). And was told she had about 3 weeks. She opted for no help or medicine. Since she was 78 (I think). She was in her late 70's. We think she was just ready to go. Her husband, my grandma and great aunts brother, passed away from cancer back in '92. I heard the year he passed away the other day and couldn't believe it had been that long. :( His birthday is St. Patty's day. :) I'll always remember his birthday. But anyways, I haven't stayed in contact with that part of my family in years. We all just kinda grew apart. But I remember as a kid always going to Aunt Hazel and Uncle Bubba's house. They had a juke box in their house and I'd always pick "Just a Swing'n" from John Anderson over and over again. lol But now that him, her and my grandparents are gone, all that's left is my great aunt, Bettie Anne. When ever I would talk about my aunt in the past, she's the one I would be refering too. Bettie Anne does alot for the family. She's the one who bought Saira her Disney Princess TV for Christmas. :)

But anyways, I've been real down this week. Thinking about family and all that. Also, it's been 3 years that my grandpa's been gone. He passed away day before Saira was 1 month old. So it was a very emotional time for me then.

So on Wednesday was the funeral. I went to Pasadena for the funeral and then Bettie Anne and I went up to central Texas to a town called Mexia for the gravesite service. It was a 3 hour trip up there. We left Pasadena at 12pm and got there at 3pm. Service didn't start until 4pm. LOL So we sat and talked. :) Then it was a short and sweet little service done by one of Aunt Hazel's sons. Then we stopped at the local Radio Shack so I could get a car charger...LOL My cell phone was almost dead. So I didn't get home until 10:15pm
