This crap has always been my number one all time pet peeve. It's ridiculous how rude smokers can be. I have a friend that doesn't come to visit me cause my house is smoke free and she doesn't care to go outside all the time to go smoking. Oh well, that's her own problem. I'm talking of my friend that I visit daily, drink coffee with, play cards or play pool with.

well as I said on Hilarys blog. I am a smoker but if I am around ppl that smoke or go over someones house and they don't smoke I do respect them and don't smoke around them .
I do not smoke anymore either, but most everyone else in my family or circle of friends do. i do not make them step outside, all i ask is to smoke near an open window. Although the smoke does bother me but not till like all of them are smoking at once LOL. I try to keep my head away from the smoke.
I'm a former smoker! I really started at 18 in college and quit when I was 24, the day I found out I was pregnant. Then I was pressured (in an altered state of mind) to smoke again over the summer. That one drag was all it took. It's SO damn addictive! I hated it. I hated the feeling of NEEDING something that I felt my mind couldn't control. I hated the smell. I hated how my kids looked at me with that 'how could you be like that' look. I hated how all my other friends seemed disappointed that I had become 'one of them'. I stopped. Quit. Never again. EVER.
When I was in college, I will be honest, I was probably one of those rude ass people that gagged the shit out of most pedestrians. I'm sorry for it now. Because being in their shoes I look down on them and their rude actions.
