Awww, sweet brother!!

Last night we were at the table eating dinner and Chad was talking to Ryan about his good grades and how good grades can lead to go really good job later in life. So Chad asked him what he'd like to do when he grows up. And he said a cop. And Chad asked Saira, and she said she doesn't want to be anything. So Ryan answered for her and he said she can be a model. AWWW, wasn't that so sweet.

Sweet kitty

Awwww, there has been this cute fluffy little gray kitty that's been hanging out at our house for the last 4 or 5 days now. It's so sweet. Well Saira thinks it needs to come inside. Well, I can't have the kitty in here. For 2 reasons. First one is mainly because I'm allergic. The other is because Chad and I have agreed we don't want animals in the house making little animal messes that they do...LOL Yucky! But this little kitty is so darn cute. I couldn't help but pick it up this morning. But I came inside and washed my hands immediatly. :)

My Hunny's birthday

Yesterday was Chad's birthday. We really didn't get to do much. We got up at 6am for Ryan's football game. Then Chad helped his grandpa with buying a new truck. After that we spent a little time at his mom and dad's. By now it was 4pm. Then my friend called and asked if I wanted to run to town with her to get movies, pizza and munchies for our Slumber Party. It was just us 3 girls, me, Saira and Nina. I got back home and fried chicken for Chad's birthday dinner. When I was done making dinner Saira and I got our bathes and put our jammies on and went over to Nina's house. We watched 2 movies, ate LOTS of food and finally passed out around 1:30am. We were zonked...lol We had air matresses on her livingroom floor and camped out in there. We had a great time. Her husband is out of state working and her kids were at their friends houses staying the night. So we got up this morning, had our coffee and waffles for breakfast and then watched another movie. We finally got back home this afternoon around 12...LOL

An old friend

OMG Ya'll, I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited! My mom has been helping me this morning with finding an old Elementary school friend of mine. We were the best of friends. So we googled and googled and finally found her...or at least her parents. I couldn't remember her middle name, couldn't remember her parents names, until I saw the right listing for her. YAY!

So I called these 2 numbers my mom found and I left a message for her mom to call me back. I sure hope she does. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I haven't been in contact with my friend for about 18 years.

Woops...

I forgot. Today was a special day. My brother-in-law turned 11 years old. The September birthday madness begins...LOL Actually it started Saturday...LOL

I can't believe it, 9 years of marriage is day after tomorrow. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. BUT, it's so cool to think that next year will be 10. WOW!!

Waiting SUCKS

I've been waiting all freaking day for the Directv man. They gave me a 1-5pm time slot. Gesh! I don't understand why anyone has to come anyways. We're just upgrading. It's not like we don't have a reciever and wire already. He just better not show up at 5, when I'm getting Ryan ready for football practice. He best get here in a few minutes. It's 3:10 already.

At least the internet hook up guy will be here earlier in the day tomorrow...from 10-12pm. That should give me enough time to play before Chad gets home, wanting to hog the computer to do his stuff. LOL

DVR and Broadband

YAAAAAAAAAAY!! Tomorrow directv will be out to change my regular receiver with a dvr receiver. I'm so excited! I'll be able to record something while Chad's watching and vice versa.

OK, and then Friday the broadband peoples are coming out to hook me up. WOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!! After 11 years of internet, I'm FINALLLLLLY getting some highspeed internet out here in the woods! Being without my phoneline for a week was driving me crazy and so last week when I first noticed I didn't have a dial tone, I called up this company and signed up.

Can ya'll tell I'm excited? So guess what?!? This means I'll be doing all kinds of blogging, myspacing and whatever else. hehe!!! :)

freaking phone lines!

Well, my second phone line was finally fixed yesterday evening. I haven't been able to get online for a week, without having to hook my computer up to my main phoneline. And that's a big pain in the ass!! Big time.

Football Time!

YAY!! It's High School football time. I'm so excited, I just wish it were a little cooler. We hardly ever have any cool or cold football games anymore. I think they should start the season a month later...LOL But anyways, we're going to the game tonight. The moms of Ryan's peewee team is doing the concession stand tonight, but I'm not. LOL I'll be watching the game.

And I gotta tell ya, I'm so ready for Fall. It's my most favorite season!! I want pumpkins everywhere. :)
